This piece was woven of upcycled cotton bedding, linen, grandma’s vintage thread and hand made earth pigments. It’s embedded with a feminine history and has a gentle single cross stitch to represent the kind of tender mending and repair required to alchemize our experiences into something beautiful, textured and gritty. This has always been one of my favorite pieces and a great example of how soulful neutrals can be.
The highly textured original was high resolution scanned to allow for custom prints in any scale on paper, canvas and wall covering.
